Product Description

Shurtape production grade hot melt bopp film packaging tape. For manual (hand rolls) or automatic (machine rolls) case sealing. Recommended for medium weight cartons in normal manufacturing and shipping environments. Packaging, bundling and repairing cartons, paper and film bags. CID A-A-1684C; FDA Indirect Contact CFR 21, B, 175.105; FDA Indirect Contact CFR 21, 177.1520; ASTM D 1974-98 (2003). Tape should be stored in its original packaging in a cool, dry area away from direct sunlight and should be used within 12 months of date of shipment. Surfaces to which tape is applied should be clean, dry and free of grease, oil or other contaminants. Tensile Strength (longitudinal): 27 lbs/in width and transverse: 44 lbs/in width. Adhesion to stainless steel: 44 oz/in width. Adhesion to backing Hand Rolls: 18 oz/in width and Machine Rolls: 4 oz/in width. Holding power to fiberboard: 15,000+ minutes.
